Let's Help get Every Kid Out on the Field

Grand Slam 4 Good is a youth-led nonprofit organization based in South Florida and founded by Saint Andrew’s School student Aiden Krasnow. The organization is dedicated to making baseball accessible to children in underserved communities by providing essential equipment and raising funds for athletic programs that otherwise lack the resources to support youth participation. Through equipment drives and community events—such as charity wiffle ball tournaments—Grand Slam 4 Good works to remove financial barriers so that every child who wants to play baseball has the opportunity to step onto the field.
The need for this work is growing. Youth sports costs have risen dramatically in recent years, with the average American family now spending over $1,000 per year on a child’s primary sport, a nearly 46% increase in just five years. Even baseball, traditionally considered more affordable, still costs families around $700 per year on average, not including travel or league fees. Basic equipment alone can quickly become expensive, with gloves often costing $100–$300, bats $200–$400, and cleats $60–$150. As costs rise, participation gaps between higher- and lower-income families continue to widen, leaving many talented young athletes without the chance to play.
Grand Slam 4 Good was created to help close that gap. By collecting and distributing equipment and raising funds for youth athletic programs, the organization helps ensure that financial limitations do not prevent children from experiencing the confidence, teamwork, discipline, and community that sports provide. Through grassroots efforts and community support, Grand Slam 4 Good aims to expand access to baseball and create opportunities for the next generation of athletes.
